Segmental mechanical traction is highly customized and unique to each patient’s individual needs and injuries. Mechanical traction targets and realigns very specialized parts of the body (normally focused on the joints, spine, and neck). This traction device can provide directed force, relieving pain and compression.
With multiple treatments, patients are usually able to lengthen and realign a specific bone, lessen or eliminate muscle spasms, relieve pressure on the nerves, and prevent or remove skeletal deformities.
