We are proud to provide our patients with a specialized version of physical therapy, thanks to Premier Rehabiliation’s team of OMPT-certified therapists. Our physicians received two additional years of postgraduate training and completed 2,000 hours of residency to perform the type of physical therapy we know will help our patients best. Fun fact: Only 10% of physical therapists have acquired the necessary designation to perform OMPT therapy!
OMPT, unlike traditional physical therapy, focuses on treating the pain, rather than just the symptoms. Our therapists use special techniques to help treat injuries that may not be responding well to more traditional forms of physical therapy.
With OMPT, we are also proud to offer one-on-one, customized care for each patient. Starting with a thorough evaluation of their current physical impairments, patients continue their therapy journey with help from the same therapist to ensure we accurately measure progress during each session.
